Around the Tubes vol. XXXI

I have gotten a plethora of cool press releases have been flooding my inbox recently that you may find interesting. This post will include blurbs on Chuck, BBC America contest, Nazi Mystery: Twins from Brazil, Alice, Santa Baby 2: Maybe Christmas, and the FX Holiday Schedule.

- In a story I broke last week, Chuck is returning Sunday, January 10 for its two hour premiere before settling back in a Monday timeslot the next day and here is the latest promo:

No More Mr. Nice Spy

Bonus points for Pretty Fly for a White Guy (and double bonus points for the Token Hot Chick climbing out of a pool like a Bond girl).

- Nothing like a $1000 shopping spree in time for Christmas shopping and BBC America is giving you a chance to win two $500 gift certificates, one for you and one for that someone special (for example me). The second and third prizes (two $250 and two $100 gift certificates respectively) are not bad consolations. Head to BBC America. Com to enter.

- Some titles you see and makes you want to check it out without knowing anything about it. Case in point: Nazi Mystery: Twins from Brazil. If you need more, here is a preview of the show that premieres this Sunday at 9:00 on the National Geographic Channel:

- We are inching closer to the SyFy event Alice (starting December 6) and here is a behind the scenes look:

Alice: Behind the Scenes

- Coming Monday I will be publishing the schedule for this year’s 25 Days of Christmas and this year’s new original movie is Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe and to promote it, ABC Family will be attempting to break the Guinness Worlds Record for “The Largest Gathering of Santa’s Elves” Monday December 7 in New York City’s Bryant Park.

  1. I am so happy Chuck is coming back early! Go Chuck. And I hope Alice comes to Canada sooner than later. I actually might tune into that one. :)

  2. No SyFy in Canada? Well I bet it will make it to DVD eventually if it doesn't up there sometime.
