From the start, two things are abundantly clear: Indy is wary of the creepy old house, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. After moving in, Indy is immediately vexed by empty corners, tracks an invisible presence only he can see, perceives phantasmagoric warnings from a long-dead dog, and is haunted by visions of the previous occupant’s grim death. When Todd begins succumbing to the dark forces swirling around the house, Indy must battle a malevolence intent on dragging his beloved Todd into the afterlife.

Gearing up for Christmastime, Georgia-born and Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sydney Rose serves up a new single entitled "The Holiday" out now via Mercury Records. It stands out as her very first holiday release. Listen HERE. Watch the accompanying video HERECapping off a breakthrough 2025, her hit single “We Hug Now” also notably just received a Gold certification from the RIAA.  With “The Holiday,” Sydney reflects upon the season in her own way. Over softly creaking chords, she paints a picture of returning home and into the tense embrace of old memories. Gentle horns underscore her delivery, and she announces, “I’m coming home for the holiday, I haven’t changed. I just stayed the same. I miss you. I do. Nervous about running into an ex out shopping, she admits, “I’m afraid that I don’t like December. It’s a relatable portrait of what it’s like to not really want to go home for the holidays, and it’s also indicative of her unique and uncanny perspective as an emotionally acute Gen-Z songstress.

Rising country artist Belles ushers in the holiday season with the release of her EP, Bells on Belles, featuring reimagined holiday classics, “Silver Bells” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” Infused with her signature country flair and modern charm, Bells on Belles is available now on all major streaming platforms [listen here]. When the first unmistakable notes of “White Christmas” drift from a speaker each December, it signals that the holiday season has truly begun. More than 80 years after the legendary Bing Crosby first introduced what would become his signature song on screen in the 1942 film “Holiday Inn,” his eternal, sonorous croon continues to be synonymous with the sound of the holidays.  Written by Irving Berlin, “White Christmas” remains the best-selling single in history, with more than 100 million sales worldwide, including at least 50 million sales as singles. Certified Diamond by the RIAA and streamed hundreds of millions of times annually, the perennial holiday favorite, which won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 15th Academy Awards, continues to re-enter Billboard’s Holiday 100 in the Top 20 each year, standing as both a historical milestone and an enduring part of popular culture. With its timeless message of longing and homecoming, Crosby’s performance, capturing both nostalgia and hope with his warm, effortless delivery, remains the emotional foundation for every holiday recording that followed.  Purchase “White Christmas” Snow White vinyl 7” or the Classic Holiday Singles box: https://uDiscover.lnk.to/HolidaySinglesBoxPR

Acclaimed Nashville-based singer, songwriter and performer Kaitlin Butts continues a banner year with the release of her highly anticipated new EP, Yeehaw Sessions, available today via Republic Records. The project marks Butts’ first release since signing with the major label, and it captures the Oklahoma native at her most playful, soulful, and self-assured yet. Listen to Yeehaw Sessions HEREButts gave fans an early taste of the collection late last month with her reflective and emotionally charged rendition of the Jimmy Eat World classic “The Middle,” which has already earned widespread acclaim. Garden & Gun hailed it as “the cover you didn’t know you needed” while Billboard praised it as “Must Hear” and noted, Butts’ version comes across as tender, wise, and thoughtful” while Saving Country Music added, “Leave it to Kaitlin Butts to take a Jimmy Eat World song and make it into a sentimental and touching country tune.”

Katie Tupper announces her debut album Greyhound will arrive on January 21 with the release of her new single “Right Hand Man.” Often receiving comparisons to Olivia Dean and Charlotte Day Wilson, Tupper’s smoky alto voice wraps together soul, indie and alternative R&B with just a touch of folky twang. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Greyhound will bring the prairie roots of Tupper’s past to meet the blended and expanded worldview of her present.  On her upcoming debut, Tupper shares, Greyhounds that race on tracks are given these parameters and rabbit decoys to chase that are unreachable. If the front/fastest dog gets close to the decoy it just speeds up to make them run faster. The dogs think they are chasing something reachable but by design it will always be slightly ahead of them. It made me think about my relationships and how I act in the world. I am often both the Greyhound and the decoy — chasing something unreachable and being the thing that cannot be caught.”

Alice Phoebe Lou today releases the official video for “Mind Reader” from her new album Oblivion. Released last month via Nettwerk Music Group, the radiant, self-produced album sees Alice reach past the unrelenting noise of modern life. Authentic and self-assured, she leans back into the sublime simplicity of her earlier sound, leaving space for imperfections to be cherished — Stream..  The “Mind Reader” official video is the second installment in a three-part visual series featuring TikTokers Izzy Perez and Emma Fuente, who are better known as TurtleWithHat. Dreamy acoustics peppered with flourishes of electric guitar fuse together flawlessly as Alice depicts a relationship with difficult communication. “I’m not a mind reader/ But I will try for you.” The video was directed by South Africa-born, New York-based filmmaker Jabu Nadia Newman, who chronicles an honest and intimate exploration of love, capturing the joy of new love, the ache of disconnection and the lasting imprint of creating shared memories — Watch.

Multi-platinum artist Stephen Sanchez and French singer/songwriter Devi have debuted a new side project, Dress & Tie. Today, the duo shared their self-titled EP, out now via Mercury Records.  Listen to Dress & Tie HERE.  Dress & Tie serve up a trifecta of intimate love songs with stripped-back production by Stephen and Konrad Snyder (Kacey Musgraves, Noah Kahan). On the EP, Stephen shares, “Dress & Tie was born out of love for one another and a shared pursuit of real love songs in a world full of failed attempts. These songs were written from a place of passion over pressure, telling our story alone. We both wholeheartedly hope you find yourselves endlessly inspired by the magic of these songs in a world that has seemingly forgotten that love is still simply this: attainable, beautiful, wonderful magic.”

Nearly five decades after its original release, The Rolling Stones celebrate their groundbreaking 1976 album Black and Blue with a definitive Super Deluxe Box Set, available now worldwide via Interscope/UMe. 57 Channels and Only This Is On: November 9, 2025

The Lowdown:  So, the wife was kind of the bad guy the whole time.  I guess I should have seen that coming after Lee hooked up with her.

Survivor:  So, what would have happened had Savannah found the keys?  Does she just hold on to them until tribal?  Though losing the vote would not have changed Tribal.  But now we have two Idols that everyone knows about and someone with a Knowledge Is Power advantage that no one knows about.

But Alex is doing a horrible job playing the middle by siding with the majority this vote.  If you are playing the middle, you want the both sides equal.  He should have told former Uli that there were traitors, then Soph (or Sophie, why the fork did they cast two people with the same name?) who could steal MC’s Idol, play it for Nate making 5-4 with him in the middle.  Now it is 6-3 with him “in the middle” and he will end up being at the bottom of the six-person alliance.

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats:  I cannot comment on this week’s episode because it has yet to be put On Demand yet.  Though this begs the question, why are these episodes not on Paramount+ next day?  Seriously Paramount, it is 2025, let your episodes stream the next day like every other show on every other channel does.  I really hope it gets On Demand soon so I am not stuck watching a repeat like it is the nineties.
