- Sublime have released their latest single, “Can’t Miss You,” from their upcoming album Until the Sun Explodes, arriving June 12 on Atlantic Records. In an era where singles are often preceded by weeks of teaser campaigns, influencer activations, countdown clocks, and algorithm-driven marketing strategies, the band chose instead to make the release feel personal, immediate, and authentic – a direct connection between the music and the fans who have supported Sublime for decades. The band quietly released “Can’t Miss You” as a surprise offering for longtime listeners and diehard fans eagerly awaiting the upcoming album Until the Sun Explodes. The decision reflects the spirit that originally made Sublime resonate with audiences in the first place: raw emotion, spontaneity, and music that feels discovered rather than manufactured. - Rising alternative indie artist Devon Thompson unveils her striking new single “Pillory” today, accompanied by an equally evocative official music video, premiering exclusively via Spill Magazine. Marking a bold new chapter in her sonic evolution, “Pillory” immerses listeners in a lush, cinematic soundscape that feels both timeless and distinctly her own. Anchored by Thompson’s ethereal vocals and atmospheric production, “Pillory” captures a mood that is at once intimate and expansive, balancing emotional vulnerability with sweeping sonic textures. The accompanying video mirrors this tension, bringing the song’s emotional core to life through visually arresting imagery and a deeply immersive tone.
- Rising New York artist Belle Blue has released her new single “Wash”—an emotionally raw track that captures the kind of moment you try to forget, but can’t quite shake. Built around vivid, almost cinematic snapshots—“he tasted like cigarettes and peach tea,” a glance across the street, a night that slips into morning—“Wash” plays like a memory in real time. It’s not a love story so much as a moment: brief, intense, and already disappearing as it’s happening.
- There is a moment — somewhere between the first drink and the last record of the night — when the music stops being background and starts being the only truth in the room. Noelle Scaggs has spent nearly two decades living inside that moment, commanding stages across the globe as a founding force behind the multi-platinum band Fitz & The Tantrums. Now, she steps forward alone — and entirely on her own terms — with her debut solo album, Money Fame Love, out today via Adventures With Scaggs LLC / Scaggs Entertainment Inc. This is not a departure. It is an arrival. Money Fame Love is the record Scaggs has been assembling in her bones for years — written across continents, born in nightclubs and quiet rooms in Los Angeles, London, Bucharest, and Saint-Brieuc, France, and shaped by the kind of fearless creative intimacy that only comes when an artist stops waiting for permission. Nine songs. No label. No committee. Just a woman, her collaborators, and the music that made her.
- When The Beach Boys’ masterpiece Pet Sounds was released in 1966, it was only a modest commercial success in the U.S. compared to the group’s earlier albums. In the decades since, however, its reputation and popularity have steadily grown, with the album now widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time—recently surpassing 2 billion streams in the U.S. alone and ranking as the sixth most streamed rock album of the 1960s, according to Luminate. Ahead of the album’s 60th anniversary this Saturday, May 16, Pet Sounds has been certified double platinum by the RIAA, a testament to its enduring popularity and timeless appeal. Additionally, the album’s classic singles “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” is now 4x platinum, “God Only Knows” is 2x platinum and “Sloop John B” is platinum.
- Walt Disney Records drops the digital single “The Mandalorian and Grogu (Boys Noize Remix),” an electronic take on Oscar®winning composer Ludwig Göransson’s main theme from “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu,” remixed by acclaimed producer and DJ Boys Noize (Alex Ridha). The track is out now on Spotify | Apple Music | Amazon Music | YouTube Music and other digital platforms. “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” opens in theaters May 22. Boys Noize shares, “I grew up on Star Wars, so being invited into this universe is really special to me. Much respect to Ludwig - I’ve always been a fan of his work, and it was inspiring to bring this piece into my own world.”
