- Showtime has released a new trailer for the upcoming seventh season of Ray Donovan, premiering on Sunday, November 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series stars Liev Schreiber in his three-time Emmy® nominated and five-time Golden Globe® nominated role as the iconic fixer.

- Filmed over six years, The Silence of Others reveals the epic struggle of victims of Spain’s 40-year dictatorship under General Franco, as they organize a groundbreaking international lawsuit and fight a “pact of forgetting” around the crimes they suffered. A cautionary tale about fascism and the dangers of forgetting the past. The Silence of Others has its national broadcast debut on the PBS documentary series POV and pov.org this Monday, September 30 at 10 p.m. (check local listings). The film is a co-production of Semilla Verde Productions, Lucernam Films, American Documentary | POV, Independent Television Service (ITVS) and Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB), in association with El Deseo. POV is American television’s longest-running independent documentary series now in its 32nd season.

- The hit rock and roll true crime podcast Disgraceland returns in its 4th season with a two part episode on NWA. Lifetime’s highly anticipated holiday movie, You Light Up My Christmas, starring and executive produced by veteran actress, Kim Fields sets new premiere date for Sunday, December 1st at 8pm ET/PT. Initially set to debut on December 14th, positive reaction to the network’s announced slate of holiday films prompted the earlier date to satisfy excited fans. - Showtime has ordered the first eight-episode season of the ongoing drama series Ripley, based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling quintet of Tom Ripley novels. BAFTA® Award winner Andrew Scott (Fleabag, Sherlock) will star in the title role of Tom Ripley. Oscar and Golden Globe® winner and Emmy® nominee Steven Zaillian (Schindler’s List, The Night Of) will write and direct the entire first season. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine and Jana Winograde, Presidents of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc. In the series, Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom's acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder.
- Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere has found its young Elena and Mia for its flashback episode. AnnaSophia Robb as ‘Young Elena,’ a young mother with four children under four, Elena struggles to reassert control over her life after her youngest child is born. Tiffany Boone as ‘Young Mia,’ after learning her scholarship is being revoked, Mia is willing to go to extreme lengths to stay in art school and pursue her dreams. Alona Tal as “Young Linda,’ Elena’s best friend, Linda and her husband Mark long for a child of their own while enduring heartbreaking loss and the grief of infertility. The 8-episode limited series will premiere on Hulu in 2020.
- The CNN/New York Times Democratic presidential debate in October will occur on one night, the Democratic National Committee told campaigns Friday. "To address several inquiries we have received we are writing to let you know that, pending a final decision after the certification deadline, it is the intention of the DNC and our media partners to hold the October debate over one night on Tuesday October 15th," the DNC wrote in an email Friday morning.
- As Nancy Pelosi officially calls for an impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump today, the Executive Director of the Main Street Alliance, Amanda Ballantyne, had this to say: “Main Street Alliance supports Speaker Pelosi’s decision to investigate President Trump’s recent interactions with the Ukrainian government. Our federal government must do everything that it can to protect the integrity of US elections. As the investigation moves forward, Main Street Alliance small business owners are hopeful that accountability is a priority, and look forward to moving on from this tumultuous season of politics towards more transparency from this administration.”
