Alien: Earth: I
am confused, how is a runaway space ship just allowed to crash into Earth? Are there not early detection systems? Why not destroy it before it enters the atmosphere? And why exactly are they letting a bunch of ten-year-olds
go to the crash site? Sure, they are
super-human, but they still have the brains of children and children are
forking stupid.
The Challenge: Vets and New Threats: I missed talking about the first couple weeks
because there was not anything else on so I signed up for a month of Netflix (Happy
Gilmore 2 was great even though the antagonist was bad (why not just have Happy
vs. Shooter on the Senior Tour?); Sirens was great, The Hunting Wives was
stupid in a highly entertaining way, everything else was… well, there is a
reason why I only sign up for Netflix for one month every other year. See you again for
the 2027 World Cup Netflix).
I do like the swapping of partners as it will shake up
voting, though I am slightly disappointed we did not get a full season of Turbo
and America as partners. That would have
been very entertaining. But this episode
was a bit boring. It became quite
obvious that Nia would not be cleared, especially when they went to commercial
with not enough time to come back and do a full elimination. Now I wonder what they were going to do with
all those logs.
