    Wow, I really have to disagree with this...Matt would be in my top 5...I think he's the most realistic teenager ever portrayed on TV.

  2. Matt isn't even the most realistic teenager on his own show; that is Julie. And there is a reason why she didn't make the cut: real American teenagers tend to be annoying. Matt got a little too whiney after the live in maid dumped him (which wasn't high on the realism scale) for my entertainment value and I always viewed him as Landry's straight man. On the other hand Lyla's religious awakening was thoroughly entertaining as there are not enough religious nutjobs on television these days, aside from Fox News of course. Plus, if you allow me to be shallow for a minute, she's a cheerleader and the powerpuff football game will always rank high on my favorite FNL scenes.
