57 Channels and Only This Is On: September 28, 2028

Task:  So, there is a mole in the task force.  Lizzie is too much of a mess to pull that off, DJ Grossonova seems too obvious, so I will go with Aleah who seemed like the fourth wheel until they gave a monologue this week. I was kind of waiting for her to say she made that up just to get the lady to talk.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon:  I missed why Justina took the place of the other lady.  Hopefully they recapped that in the Previously On next week.

Only Murders in the Building:  I predicted LESTR would not make it to the end of the season, but I was not expecting him die the very next episode.  Or die so hilariously.  But with a new one coming, are they just going to kill LESTR every week?  They will have to run out of money at some point. It is a bit disappointing that in the fight between the upstairs and downstairs, Nina Lin is nowhere to be found.  But hey, we did get Tye-Dye Guy’s dad (at least I think he was The Super).

But we have new suspects: the widows. What side hustle were they pulling?  And why was Lester throwing away the invoices at work.  I do not pin them as the killers just yet.  The person who seemed the most suspicious this week was the mayor.  As someone who watches too many mysteries, that guy has to be showing up periodically and played by a recognizable actor for a reason.  Then after the second season twist, the assistant is also sneaking up my murder board.

Two more things from this episode: it was nice we got the brothers back (“Mom, I tried salad” might have gotten the biggest laugh of the episode from me), and after getting an offer on his apartment, will Oliver soon become Westie too?  Will Charles also follow them?  If they are all in the West Tower next season, I think Vince Fish may end up being the victim.

Alien: Earth:  Um, why did they give the hybrids too much power?  Opening locks, freezing other robots, no auto shutoff.  This just seems like a horrible design which just ruins the show for me.  I know you have to put of with some stupidity when watching horror, but this is a bit much.  And the xenomorphs basically becoming pets is just weird.  Who wants to see domesticated killing machines in a horror show?

The Lowdown: Ethan Hawke in this show remind me of his performance in Good Lord Bird, the show is good, but wish Hawke would dial it down a notch or three.

Survivor:  Oh, my goodness, Rizgod is quickly moving up the most annoying characters in this show’s history.  And how did he win his challenge.  Keep digging in place.  It is not a hard challenge.  But I cannot believe they do not have rules about looking at other’s progress.

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats:  Speaking of cheating, I wish TJ was this passionate about all forms of cheating.  This is another show that does not care if you cheat off your neighbors.  Or help your buddies in elimination.  And contestants have been spitting out food right after going in their mouths for a long time now. Hopefully this is the start of crackdown on all cheating.

Peacemaker:  They revealed something that everyone already figured out, they are in Nazi world.  Though we did not figure out what became of Judomaster.  I am guessing when the mob catches up to Adebayo, they will throw her in whatever camp they are keeping Judomaster.  But the question is how will Peacemakers rescue them and get John away from his father?  Hopefully the Sons of Liberty have a big network in this universe.  Thankfully they put Superman on The Max just in time for that cameo to make sense.
