Survivor:  Thar really worked out well for the minority. Savannah and Soph are safe and Rizo is on a tribe with himself and is able to scare everyone else to scramble so they are not the one Rizo vote if he plays his Idol which let Rizo to not play his Idol.  Really could not have played out any better for them.  Now those three have an Idol, and Extra Vote, and Knowledge advantage.  Though a small part of me was hoping the chaos at Tribal was a big show to make Rizo seem safe.  And what exactly did MC say to get everyone so flustered?

 

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats:  Ooo, another Stake a Claim.  But does Yeremi really want to be stuck with Olivia for the rest of the season?  I think I would rather risk it with Aviv in a potential elimination than stuck with Olivia.

- Hulu has debuted first look photos from the highly anticipated third season of “Tell Me Lies.”  The eight-episode third season of “Tell Me Lies” premieres January 13, 2026, with the first two episodes.  Tell Me Lies Season 3 follows Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) as they've rekindled their tumultuous romance in time for spring semester at Baird College. While they promise things will be different this time, past indiscretions hinder their best intentions, and Lucy finds herself embroiled in a controversy she wants nothing to do with. Meanwhile, the disastrous repercussions from the previous year also force Lucy and Stephen's friends to face their own destructive behaviors. As scandalous secrets fester around campus, vicious consequences threaten Lucy and everyone in her circle.

- Just Women’s Sports and Amazon Prime are teaming up to take over NWSL Championship Weekend, including hosting a live taping of Sports Are Fun! on Thursday, November 20, at the Corinthian Grand Ballroom in San Jose. The live taping will be hosted by soccer legend Kelley O’Hara and her Sports Are Fun! co-host BJ Beckwith, with the pair joined on stage by a variety of surprise guests and local Bay Area legends. The show will feature fan competitions, giveaways, photo opportunities and more. Tickets are available today.

- Good Boy, available to stream on Shudder Friday, November 21st.  Our canine hero, Indy, finds himself on a new adventure with his human owner—and best friend—Todd, leaving city life for a long-vacant family home in the country. From the start, two things are abundantly clear: Indy is wary of the creepy old house, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. After moving in, Indy is immediately vexed by empty corners, tracks an invisible presence only he can see, perceives phantasmagoric warnings from a long-dead dog, and is haunted by visions of the previous occupant’s grim death. When Todd begins succumbing to the dark forces swirling around the house, Indy must battle a malevolence intent on dragging his beloved Todd into the afterlife.

- Hulu has released the official trailer and key art for "Sebastian Maniscalco: It Ain't Right."  The latest special in the Hularious stand-up slate premieres Friday, November 21 on Hulu, and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers, in the US, and on Disney+ internationally.

- This summer’s hottest club is keeping its doors open for more good times as The Aces announce Gold Star Baby Deluxe will be released in February of 2026 via SoundOn. Originally released back in August, Gold Star Baby is a concept album that doesn't take itself too seriously. A metaphorical night club in every city where if you know…you know, everyone and anyone is invited to indulge in a celebration of queerness and escapist, sapphic, disco-pop fun.  The Aces today released the deluxe album’s first bonus track, “Square One.” A story of the two steps forward, one step backward approach to moving on from heartbreak, today’s single and deluxe album news were exclusively premiered by People Magazine — Stream the new single. 

- Florence + the Machine’s highly anticipated new album, Everybody Scream, debuts at #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and #4 on the Billboard 200 today. - GRAMMY and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-nominated rock band, The Black Crowes, led by founding brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1994 album Amorica with a deluxe reissue box set. -  Sublime will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled album with two special nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, April 17 and 18, marking the kickoff of a year-long celebration honoring the 1996 groundbreaking album. On April 17, Sublime will perform their self-titled album in its entirety for the first time ever, followed by an April 18 performance featuring a career-spanning set packed with the band’s greatest hits. - George Thorogood & The Destroyers announced their 10th annual “Who Do You Love?" holiday campaign, which runs fromNovember 18TH to December 30TH and designed to raise awareness and support for 11 nonprofits close to the band’s heart. “When I was a kid, my hero was Bobby Kennedy,” says George. “He said ‘Some men see things as they are and ask why? I dream things that neverwere and ask, why not?’ It was a message that spoke directly to my generation, and one that I’llalways carry with me.”  The campaign kicks off with The Marla Thorogood Memorial Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research, established in memory of George's wife who passed away in 2019. $1 from every ticket sold at participating venues is donated to the fund, as is 100% of net proceeds from a limitededition commemorative t-shirt. All proceeds go toward research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, whose leading studies of gene mutations can help identify women at risk for ovarian and breast cancer.

- Gearing up for Christmastime, Georgia-born and Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sydney Rose serves up a new single entitled "The Holiday" out now via Mercury Records. It stands out as her very first holiday release. Listen HERE. Watch the accompanying video HERE. Capping off a breakthrough 2025, her hit single “We Hug Now” also notably just received a Gold certification from the RIAA.  With “The Holiday,” Sydney reflects upon the season in her own way. - Acclaimed Nashville-based singer, songwriter and performer Kaitlin Butts continues a banner year with the release of her highly anticipated new EP, Yeehaw Sessions, available today via Republic Records. The project marks Butts’ first release since signing with the major label, and it captures the Oklahoma native at her most playful, soulful, and self-assured yet. - Alice Phoebe Lou today releases the official video for “Mind Reader” from her new album Oblivion. - Multi-platinum artist Stephen Sanchez and French singer/songwriter Devi have debuted a new side project, Dress & Tie. The Lowdown:  So, the wife was kind of the bad guy the whole time.  I guess I should have seen that coming after Lee hooked up with her.

 

Survivor:  So, what would have happened had Savannah found the keys?  Does she just hold on to them until tribal?  Though losing the vote would not have changed Tribal.  But now we have two Idols that everyone knows about and someone with a Knowledge Is Power advantage that no one knows about. 

 

But Alex is doing a horrible job playing the middle by siding with the majority this vote.  If you are playing the middle, you want the both sides equal.  He should have told former Uli that there were traitors, then Soph (or Sophie, why the fork did they cast two people with the same name?) who could steal MC’s Idol, play it for Nate making 5-4 with him in the middle.  Now it is 6-3 with him “in the middle” and he will end up being at the bottom of the six-person alliance.

 

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats:  I cannot comment on this week’s episode because it has yet to be put On Demand yet.  Though this begs the question, why are these episodes not on Paramount+ next day?  Seriously Paramount, it is 2025, let your episodes stream the next day like every other show on every other channel does.  I really hope it gets On Demand soon so I am not stuck watching a repeat like it is the nineties.

- This past Wednesday, November 4, NYC-based band Geese made an appearance on BBC Radio 1 and performed a cover of the New Radicals' 1998 hit "You Get What You Give." Gregg Alexander, frontman of New Radicals, said of the performance:  "Geese must truly be the coolest new band since The White Stripes, because my phone ain’t blown up like this since New Radicals announced reforming for just one day for the 2021 Presidential Inauguration in defiance of the raid on the Capitol.  So I was confused at first by the dozens of texts I awoke to in Nashville Wednesday. Pals forwarding me headlines that there’s “Geese performing live” on BBC ONE who are taking “You Get What You Give” to artistic new heights?!  So I rushed on-line to discover Geese’s music, and by the end of the first chorus of their instant classic “Taxes,” I realized they’re not just the coolest band in decades…they’re one of the best. What a lyric, “Doctor, heal yourself!…I will break my own heart?!”  And after Tuesday night’s Billionaire kleptocracy rebuking Democratic U.S. election sweep, to awaken to dozens of sweetly absurdist texts about Geese performing live on the BBC…clearly there’s a change for good in the air that makes ya kinda gotta scream 'Down with Trumpism, greed and hate! Up with Geese and love!'"

It: Welcome to Derry:  The problem with prequels is we known the Air Force is ultimately going to fail because Pennywise still shows up in the eighties.  So, any of the adult storyline seems worthless.  Then the kids storyline just seems to be a rehash of the movies.

 

Only Murders in the Building:  This was my favorite finale since the second season.  The chained-up scene was so funny (oh, he chose stripper) I will forgive that they conventionally forgot Detective Williams also knew about that room and that they did not bother to loop Williams in on the plan when they knew crooked cops were involved.

 

While I got the mayor right as the murderer, I was very wrong thinking they only brought back Teddy Dimas for the last couple episodes to kill him for the next season mystery.  Instead, we get the shocking reveal that the girl with the curl is actually Cinda Canning… or is it just someone who looks like Cinda Canning?  Could she have been looking into a family member from the across the pond and that is who it was? 

 

I just hope that the news they are filming in London next season turns out like season four where they just filmed one episode in Los Angeles before heading back to the cozy confines of the Arconia.  We do have a bunch of new neighbors to meet.  Maybe we will finally get my fantasy casting of Anna Kendrick. it will also be interesting if they manage to kill Paul Rudd for the fourth straight season.

 

Chad Powers:  I did not realize that the season was only six episodes until I got the push notification saying all episodes are now available.  I guess I just assumed that the season would last the entire football season like every other sports show ever.  But at least the coach’s daughter finally figured out that Chad is actually Russ.  Which means she knows Russ forked her step mom in his cyber truck.  Oof.  Should make for an interesting second season… if there is one.

 

The Lowdown:  Um, how exactly is Lee going to get out of this?  Is all his black and Indian friends going to show up and have a stand off where no bullets are fired?

 

Survivor:  Well, editors made this elimination extremely obvious considering how much they focused on Sage’s irrational hatred of Shannon.  Geeze, no wonder why she had no friends in school.  But once we saw the new tribe breakdown, I knew they would be the team that went to Tribal and it certainly was not going to be Steven going home. But it was ironic that everyone on Uli thought Jawan would be the one to turn, but he was extremely loyal until his name was thrown out there.  Now the former Uli members when from a dominate force that could have easily picked off former Hina, but now it looks like turning on Jawan will be their downfall.

 

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats:  So, why does the winning team not get to vote?  Winning Immunity on Survivor does not void your vote.  I guess it made a little sense earlier in the game when the winning team got to either save someone or put a team up for the vote. Not being able to vote is a bit of a disadvantage.  But kudos to Theo for being the only one to figure that out.

- Just in time for Halloween, Ghostface Killah of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan drops his latest track, "Ancient Dirt (L’Etrusco Uccide Ancora)," available today on all major streaming platforms. The single marks his role as narrator in Nightmare in Rome — a first-of-its-kind multimedia project uniting hip-hop, electronic experimentation, and Italian soundtrack heritage.  A collaboration with acclaimed Italian producer Lorenzo Senni (Warp Records) and historic soundtrack label CAM Sugar, Nightmare in Rome envisions a futuristic city split by the “Green Line” — where the wealthy New Urbe rises over the sprawling slums of Zuburrah. In this dystopian world, music becomes rebellion: an underground band performs from ancient catacombs to keep hope alive as society fractures around them.

- New York-born, Los Angeles-based duo Phantogram release the deluxe edition of Memory Of A Day, featuring a new version of “Move In Silence” with Big Boi. - Hulu has renewed the adult animated series “King of the Hill” for seasons 16 and 17 with a 20-episode order.  “King of the Hill” was initially revived in January 2023 with a 20-episode order.  Season 14 streamed its 10-episode season on Monday, August 4 following its world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con which included an activation recreating the show’s famous Arlen, Texas.
