57 Channels and Only This Is On: September 27, 2024

 

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol: So they killed off the big bad and the mother in the same episode.  So what now?

 

Only Murders in the Building:  Well, my prediction that Paul Rudd wanted to return so he could be the killer after being killed off last season turned out to be off… unless my evil twin theory turns out to be right because we know the writer needed help. Poor Paul Rudd, was fed rat poison, pushed down an elevator shaft, shot in the head, and suffocated.  Now I have to wonder if they will try to find a way to bring him back and kill him again next season. 

 

As for that partner, with all the clues that tie back to the beginning, it seems like the accomplice would have been around from the beginning.  Speaking of things that have been around since the beginning, the tie-dye sweatshirt was conspicuously very visible when Mabel went to talk to Bev Melon.  I still hold on to the prediction that the other big reveal of the partner will happen at the wedding… followed by a death for them to solve next season.

 

Survivor:  It is always an entertaining episode when the most delusional person finally gets voted off.

 

The Challenge: Battle of the Eras:  I guess if you have a shot to take out Johnny if you can, but when he will be going against someone the size of a pencil, maybe do not potentially give him all the power in the game.

 

Agatha All Along:  So we get confirmation that all the nerds have been saying all along, that Aubrey Plaza is playing Death.  Cool, hopefully being such a big character, she shows up in other Marvel properties.  But RIP Patti Lupone.  But I do wonder if all the fallen witches are dead-dead or if they will somehow be brought back.  And I guess the Salem Seven were not as important as I made them out to be.

 

The Old Man:  Oh joy, another season ending in a cliffhanger.  But how exactly does the ex-wife kidnap a grown man?  And if Maeby can find the couple in section, how is she not able to find a kidnapped grown man?  This will be a painful third season.  Hopefully there is not one.
